Heatoor was founded with a singular, uncompromising vision: to liberate British households from archaic, energy-wasting whole-house heating systems by engineering precision personal microclimate appliances.
The Problem We Set Out To Solve
The United Kingdom has unique housing characteristics. Unlike modern European apartments built with thick external insulation and triple glazing, over 60% of British families live in Victorian terraces, Edwardian semi-detached homes, or 1970s council estates with cavity draughts and high ceilings.
For decades, heating companies sold oversized 24kW to 30kW gas combi boilers as the default solution. But warming 5 to 7 empty rooms simply so one person can read in the lounge or work from their desk is an ecological and financial tragedy — especially under current UK electricity tariffs.
Our Breakthrough: SmartHeat™ Ceramic Core
Our thermodynamic design team replaced glowing, fire-hazardous wire elements with military-grade barium titanate Positive Temperature Coefficient (PTC) ceramic semiconductors. By combining these stones with an acoustically balanced air impeller, we created a device that reaches optimal thermal output in 3 seconds, self-regulates power draw, and circulates pleasant warmth evenly without burning airborne dust or consuming indoor oxygen.
Uncompromising British Safety Standards
Electrical safety is paramount. Every Heatoor appliance manufactured for the British market is engineered strictly to BS 1363 standards, featuring a fused UK 3-pin plug, dual thermal and mechanical tip-over cutoff sensors, and UL94 V0 flame-retardant polymers.
